WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

  • Grasshopper Inn is located on the corner of Rt 1 (Main Street) and Grasshopper Lane.

  • Our lobby entrance is located on Grasshopper Lane.

  • Our guest entrance is located behind the building near the parking lot, with two double glass doors.

WHERE IS THE BEACH?

  • Ogunquit Public Beach is located .6 miles away by walking left out Grasshopper Inn front doors on Rt 1 and then turn left at the main intersection downtown onto Beach Street, Ogunquit.

  • Footbridge Beach is located 1.2 miles walking to the right of Grasshopper Inn, turning right down Ocean Street, Ogunquit

WHAT MUST I EXPERIENCE WHILE IN OGUNQUIT?

  • Natural tide pool that goes from the ocean side of the Ogunquit Public beach when the tide comes in to around the inlet behind the beach down the cove. When the tide comes in, it pulls you around the inlet into the cove. When the tide goes out it pulls you out of the inlet and cove back to the ocean. This is a natural occurrence that amusement parks try to copy with wave pools. Here in Ogunquit, the tide pools are and everyday occurrence.

  • Sunsets or Sunrise out on the rocks on Marginal Way! Walk down marginal way until the fence drops off on the left hand side. Walk out onto the rocks as far as you can to experience the magic of seeing the natural tide pool and the sun setting or rising in all her glory!

WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO IN OGUNQUIT?

  • Marginal Way - Walk 1.1 miles out the left of the Inn, down Shore Road to hop on Marginal Way. This paved pathway has breathtaking views that goes along the edge of the ocean from the center of Ogunquit all the way to Perking Cove!

  • Shopping in Perkins Cove

  • Boat cruise or Lobster catching out of Perkins Cove

  • Playhouse Theatre - buy tickets to watch a play

  • Visit Lighthouses in Ogunquit and York

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. 

  • Any additional charges or rentals made at Grasshopper Inn can be added to your room with your verbal consent and signature on point of sale card.

DO YOU USE KEYS OR KEYCARDS?

  • We utilize a keyless entry with a specialized keycode for your security.

  • You will be given your pin number via email prior to your check-in

  • You will also be giving your pin number at check in.

I CAN’T REMEMBER MY CODE, HOW DO I FIND IT?

  • Your code is the last four digits of the phone number we have on your reservation, plus the pound / hashtag (#).

  • As an example, if your phone number is 207-606- 1234, your pin will be 1234#

  • Your four digit pin can be used on all entry doors and also your suite door.

  • Your pin will only work for the dates of your stay.
